Job Description

Position Overview:
Responsible for supporting safe and efficient operations by installing, servicing, and restoring industrial machinery, production equipment, electrical infrastructure, and facility assets. This role focuses on maintaining reliable performance across equipment, buildings, and grounds within a manufacturing environment.

Work Arrangement:
Full-time, direct hire
Compensation:
in the $25 - $38/hour. Compensation range will depend on experience. Upper pay range is reserved for more experienced candidates.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance Technician / Industrial Mechanic Maintain and install manufacturing equipment along with facility systems to ensure reliable operations Support continuous improvement by fabricating or modifying equipment, tooling, and structural components to enhance production quality Respond to unplanned equipment failures during operations and complete planned maintenance during scheduled downtime Perform basic machining tasks such as turning, milling, and surface finishing Diagnose and resolve issues across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; build custom brackets, mounts, and supports as needed Review technical documentation and collaborate with external service providers to repair equipment efficiently and cost-effectively, considering long-term value Identify faults, replace or repair components, and test equipment to confirm proper function Carry out routine preventative maintenance on machinery and facility infrastructure Operate a range of tools and equipment, including hand tools, welding equipment, machining tools, testing devices, and forklifts Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while maintaining an organized work environment; support OSHA compliance efforts Assist with additional facility needs such as property upkeep, grounds maintenance, drainage issues, roof work, and seasonal conditions (e.g., ice/snow management)
Qualifications:
  • 2-10 years of hands-on industrial electro-mechanical maintenance experience MUST have welding experience
  • Strong Safety orientation
  • Basic computer and MS Office skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Pay:
$25.00 - $38.00 per hour
