In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a variety of systems including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan. Diagnose and repair issues related to air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical systems, and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals. Perform appliance repairs and service technician tasks efficiently to minimize downtime. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex systems accurately. Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing mechanical support and ensuring safety standards are met. Lead small teams or coordinate with other technicians during maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and equipment repair. Proven service technician experience with the ability to troubleshoot diverse systems effectively. Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for accurate diagnostics. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment. Ability to perform construction-related tasks as needed for facility upgrades or repairs. Leadership qualities to guide team members or oversee contractors during maintenance projects. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
