Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems according to established maintenance schedules. Inspect equipment for signs of wear, damage, or potential failure and report findings to supervision. Lubricate, adjust, clean, and replace components as required. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Complete maintenance work orders accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance processes. Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain housekeeping standards in maintenance areas and throughout the facility. Coordinate with production personnel to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations. Support emergency repairs and breakdown response as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred. Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience preferred. Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Basic computer skills and ability to document maintenance activities in maintenance management systems. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in varying temperatures and manufacturing environments. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when required. Madix Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
