Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aviation Military Analyst (Aviation Maintenance and Maintenance Facilities Expertise) to join our team at Fort Rucker as we provide professional support services for T2COM subordinate units. In this dynamic role, you will leverage your extensive military-specific capabilities, specialized knowledge and critical thinking skills. Your expertise will help enhance the mission of Aviation Future Capability Directorate (A-FCD) through detailed analysis, enduring force modernization efforts and supporting the fielding of emerging capabilities. General Responsibilities Provide the necessary subject matter expertise, and have the ability to perform the tasks required for integration and synchronization Conduct analysis of Aviation organizations in support of formation-based assessments, simulation activities, and annual capabilities needs assessments. Tailor methodology and conduct analysis to best examine Aviation tasks, conditions, standards, and gaps across select Aviation formations. Write/support the revision or re-writing of a substantial number of JCIDS, supporting, and new emerging requirements documents. Review each of the manned/unmanned platform programs and analyze to determine the validity of their capability. Enduring Aviation portfolio modernization strategies and fielding of current and future aviation systems.
Qualifications Senior Aviation Military Analyst:
(Aviation Maintenance and Maintenance Facilities Expertise) Senior or Master Aviation Badge required. At least 5 years' experience staffing updates to the Aviation Maintenance Facility Design Standard (CC21110). Aviation Maintenance Technician with at least fifteen (15) years of aviation maintenance experience specializing in the management of personnel, supply, equipment, and facility assets to maintain and repair Army rotary, fixed wing, or unmanned aircraft systems. Experience managing personnel, supplies, equipment, and facility assets to maintain and repair Army rotary, fixed wing or unmanned aerial systems required. Experience with the Facility Investment Plan (FIP) executive level brief on Programed and Funded Aviation Facilities in the Future Years Defense Program (FYDP) required and coordination with Corp of Engineers, HQDAG44, HQDA
G8 and IMCOM required. Experience with how the Aviation Maintenance Hangar Complex supports the maintenance, repair, and sustainment of manned and unmanned aircraft and associated equipment as well as the planning and conduct of flight operations, aircrew and maintainer training, and the deployment and redeployment of aviation units required. Experience providing possible course of actions that support modernizing the airfields, integrating FLRAA institutional training, while maintaining current institutional training requirements of the Enduring Fleet required. A functional knowledge of airframe specific maintenance, phase flow management, budgeting, and logistics which include a basic knowledge of the integrated logistical analysis program (ILAP) required. Knowledge of the Fixed-Wing TDA Facility Standard (CC21110) / Tactical Unmanned Air Vehicle TOE Facility Standard (CC21115) required. Must have comprehensive knowledge on possible maintenance, logistics and facility impacts to current identified gaps in Aviation Support Equipment.
