Job Description

Schedule:
2nd Shift (5:00 PM - 3:30 AM)
Job Summary:
Maintenance Technician would be performing ongoing maintenance and completing repairs on equipment as needed. Their duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards and scheduling and making major repairs. Keeping the facility operating smoothly and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. Required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility. 3 to 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Responsibilities:
Trouble shoot and repair production equipment. Preform basic equipment diagnosis for both electrical and mechanical issues. Maintaining the plant's overall preventive maintenance programs. Identifying parts of the plant's facilities that need additional work and necessary improvements. Work with Maintenance Manager and ensure that the plant is safe and operates at peak conditions. Ensure that all equipment is operating properly and is following Global Food Safety standards. Troubleshoot PLC systems and other control systems and install wiring systems for power and control. Install and repair ac/dc motors, starters, relays, and drives. Welding and machining experience is a plus. Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed under GFSI guidelines. Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings when needed. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic experience in maintenance or repair work, including fixing machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring, as well as inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards and scheduling and making major repairs. Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and maintenance guidelines in a manufacturing environment.
Pay:
$22.00 - $32.00 per hour
