Maintenance Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled night shift Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across various systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced setting, contributing directly to the seamless operation of our organization. 50 hours a week, must have an electrical degree or 2 plus years of electrical experience. Duties Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and other building systems to identify potential issues before they escalate. Perform repairs and maintenance on appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and other equipment to ensure continuous operation. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately diagnose problems and execute repairs efficiently. Troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge. Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing maintenance support and ensuring safety standards are met. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major maintenance or repair projects when necessary. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed to ensure compliance and facilitate future planning. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment maintenance. Service technician experience with the ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively. Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for accurate diagnostics. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and ventilation systems. Familiarity with construction practices related to building maintenance or renovation projects. Ability to operate diagnostic tools and repair equipment safely and efficiently. Pay:

$15.00 - $22.56 per hour
