Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and other mechanical equipment to ensure continuous operation. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and execute repairs. Conduct equipment repairs and upgrades, including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other machinery critical to daily operations. Lead maintenance projects involving construction or renovation activities, ensuring safety standards are met throughout the process. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Collaborate with team members to develop maintenance schedules that optimize equipment lifespan and operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related fields. Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with equipment repair, troubleshooting electrical systems, plumbing, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems. Knowledge of construction practices related to facility maintenance or renovation projects is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail for precise diagnostics and repairs.
