Maintenance Technician

Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, electrical panels, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to ensure continuous operation. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs promptly to minimize downtime. Repair or replace faulty components in HVAC/R systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and other mechanical systems with precision. Conduct appliance repair tasks across various facilities, ensuring all equipment functions safely and efficiently. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and installations. Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing maintenance support and mechanical expertise as needed. Lead or support team efforts during major repairs or system upgrades while maintaining safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related fields. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance across diverse systems. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and HVAC/R best practices. Experience working in construction or facility maintenance environments is preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members during repairs or projects. Strong problem-solving skills with an energetic approach to tackling maintenance challenges efficiently.
