The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, drywall repair, painting, flooring, tile installation, siding, door installation, and general construction work. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete projects efficiently and professionally. Responsibilities Install bathroom vanities, cabinets, fixtures, and related hardware Repair, patch, sand, and finish drywall Prepare surfaces and perform interior and exterior painting Sand, refinish, and repair flooring as needed Install and repair siding materials Install interior and exterior doors, trim, and hardware Install floor and wall tile, including grout and finishing work Perform basic carpentry, framing, and general construction tasks Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely Maintain clean and organized job sites Identify repair needs and recommend solutions to customers or supervisors Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and quality expectations Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and management Qualifications Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or construction worker Knowledge of multiple trades including carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, tile, and siding Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and work orders Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, kneel, and stand for long periods Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Basic tools preferred but not required depending on employer Preferred Skills Experience with remodeling and renovation projects Familiarity with plumbing and electrical basics Experience using construction-grade tools and equipment OSHA or safety certifications are a plus Work Environment Residential and commercial job sites Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions Full-time or part-time opportunities available depending on workload Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid holidays and vacation (if applicable) Opportunities for advancement and skill development
