POSITION INFO

The maintenance mechanic works to production running by maintaining and repairing machinery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work from written and verbal instructions and machine schematics. Welding, simple electrical, carpentry, masonry, minor plumbing, general building maintenance. Maintenance of forklifts, occasional forklift operation. Installation or relocation of machinery and equipment. Repair and maintain mechanical functions of machines. Intermittent heavy lifting. Repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Must be capable of performing all mechanical maintenance. Keeps work area clean and orderly. Other duties as assigned Education - High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE

Mechanic experience in a heavy industrial environment preferred. NIBCO is committed to equal opportunity employment.
