Maintenance Tech I Shift:

E - Shift; 5:45PM-6:00AM Only work 3 (36 hours) to 4 (48 Hours) days per week!

Essential Accountabilities:

Perform routine troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance. Provide labor to assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs. Respond to and address basic technical issues. Assist the Equipment Planner and Continuous Improvement Technician. Complete assigned rebuild work orders. Utilize maintenance EAM software to track all work progress and materials to ensure timely completion of work orders. Identify and communicate parts needed to supervisor or Parts Room Coordinator. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities. Participate in process development activities and projects. Contribute to continuous improvement projects. Effectiveness in carrying out this responsibility is part of each associate's essential accountabilities. (A safety-sensitive position is one in which the associate's inability or impaired ability to perform their job-related tasks could result in a direct threat to the associate's safety or the safety of others).

Required Skills:

Must possess a high school diploma Must have excellent safety and attendance records Must have a minimum of 1 year of mechanical background or 1 year as an Advanced Operator. Basic experience maintaining/troubleshooting machine control systems required Knowledge of OSHA Industrial Safety standards and practices Welding/fabricating/layout skills preferred Good communication/documentation skills, ability to read and write English Ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams Ability to work at heights up to 30 ft.
