Job Description
Position Summary Garage door Technician; Previous work as a garage door tech
IS REQUIRED.
Traveling to customer homes to diagnose, replace or repair occurring issues. Technician will make a percentage of each call, plus commission on sales, we pay higher commission rate than any company to experienced technicians with up to 10 call a day. Education/Training Previous work as a garage door technician. High school degree or equivalent. Must be able to read, write, and invoice. Licensure/Certification Driver's Experience Garage repair experience with previous company required Required Equipment /Tools:
MUST HAVE YOUR OWN WORK VEHICLE.
Van or truck capable of hauling tools, parts and driving long distances. Must have basic tool kit, such as drill, hammer, etc. Specialized tools will be provided. Smartphone with GPS, capable of downloading required applications. Primary Goal We are looking for a dedicated and motivated technician who is in it for the long run. Your success is our success. Our nation-wide technicians are currently racking in 60k a year MINIMUM with most making over 130k, and don't work weekends. With Winston, you'll be able to learn a growing trade, make a living and come home every night.Responsibilities:
(This list may not be total) Selling needed parts to customer, sales is a big part of this job. Assemble mechanical components or machine parts. Communicate with front office after every visit. Order replacement springs, sections, or slats Repair or replace worn or broken door parts using hand tools. Disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair. Remove parts or components from equipment. Install hardware or other interior fixtures. Run wiring to connect equipment. Test mechanical equipment to ensure its functioning properly. Document operational activities Collect payments and write invoiceJob Types:
