We're seeking a skilled Automatic Door Service Technician to install, service, and maintain Automatic Door Operating Equipment and other electro-mechanical systems. If you're a detail-oriented professional with a can-do attitude and a knack for delivering top-notch customer service, we want you on our team! Key Responsibilities Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on automatic doors, ensuring compliance with
ANSI/BHMA A156.10
standards. Troubleshoot and diagnose electro-mechanical issues, maintaining high-quality workmanship. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to execute installations and repairs. Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent (productive vs. travel). Keep service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory organized and well-stocked; perform regular vehicle maintenance. Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing client questions and building lasting relationships. Stay updated on Stanley equipment changes and industry standards through provided communications. Ensure job sites are safe, clean, and professional, adhering to company policies and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications Required :
High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and carry 50-75 lbs and work in a construction environment. 2+ years of experience in construction, electrical, HVAC, or related fields (e.g., installing door frames, windows, or glass). Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics. Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused demeanor. Flexible schedule, including availability for nights/weekends as needed.
Preferred :
Associate's Degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial fields. OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification. Experience in carpentry, glazing, or automotive fields. Why Join Us?
