Overview Join our dynamic team as an Exterior Door Shop Installer in the Northwest Arkansas (NWA) region! As an integral part of our installation crew, you will be responsible for installing, fabricating, and finishing exterior doors and related components with enthusiasm and attention to detail. Your expertise will help ensure our customers receive durable, attractive, and expertly installed doors that enhance their homes and businesses. Duties Install exterior doors, including hanging, framing, and securing doors according to schematics and blueprints Fabricate door frames and trim using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to meet project specifications Perform glass installation and fixture setup to ensure proper fit and functionality Utilize construction site experience to manage heavy lifting, precise measurements, and alignment of door components Read schematics and blueprints accurately to guide installation processes and fabrication tasks Conduct caulking, sealant application, and finish carpentry to achieve weather-tight seals and polished appearances Execute locksmithing tasks such as lock installation or repair for enhanced security features Use metal stud framing techniques when necessary for custom door openings or structural modifications Apply mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting issues with door hardware or alignment during installation Maintain a clean work environment, adhere to safety protocols, and communicate effectively with team members throughout each project Requirements Proven experience in glass installation, door hanging, or related construction trades with a focus on exterior doors Proficient with hand tools (hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and specialized equipment used in construction or remodeling projects Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing large or awkwardly shaped materials Knowledge of electrical systems or electrical experience is a plus for integrating security or electronic hardware Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot hardware issues quickly and efficiently Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and adherence to building codes Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and interpreting schematics or blueprints effectively Valid driver's license preferred; willingness to travel locally as needed for installations Join us in delivering top-tier exterior door solutions that stand the test of time!
