The Role:

As a Fleet Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and small repairs of various vehicles and equipment used in our operations. You'll ensure all fleet assets are operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards. From diagnosing mechanical issues to performing preventative maintenance and keeping accurate service records, this position plays a key role in keeping our operations on the move.

Your responsibilities will include:

Conduct thorough inspections of fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake adjustments, and fluid checks. Identify and address potential mechanical issues before they become costly problems. Maintain accurate records and assist in managing parts, tools, and supplies inventory. Order parts and ensure they are stored properly and efficiently. Perform both minor and major repairs on vehicle systems including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Keep detailed documentation of all maintenance and repairs performed. Communicate effectively with operations and logistics teams regarding vehicle status. Respond to emergency vehicle issues and support field operations as needed. Follow all safety protocols and environmental procedures.

Who You Are:

We're looking for ambitious go-getters who have: Mechanic with experience in fleet maintenance, preferably with commercial trucks and tankers. Knowledge of

DOT/FMCSA

regulations, mechanical systems, and preventive maintenance best practices. Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Key Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school certificate or associate degree in automotive technology preferred. 1+ years of hands-on experience in vehicle or equipment maintenance; fleet maintenance experience is a plus. ASE certification preferred. Valid CDL preferred with a clean MVR and no preventable accident history.

Working Conditions:

Work is primarily performed in a maintenance shop or yard environment. Exposure to noise, fumes, grease, and moving mechanical parts.
