House Maintenance Staff Position Description
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled, reliable Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations and upkeep of our resort-style amenity campus within a Resort Style Active 55+ community. This role is hands-on and essential to maintaining a safe, clean, and high-quality environment for our residents and guests.

Friday through
Tuesday:
5:00 AM - 1:30
PM Days Off:
Wednesday and Thursday
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
High school diploma or GED required Valid Arizona driver's license required Proven experience in general maintenance, facilities, or related field Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems required Experience with commercial or restaurant equipment preferred HVAC experience is a plus Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Self-starter with strong attention to detail and accountability Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to frequently walk, climb stairs, bend, and stand for extended periods
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform general maintenance and repairs across the property, including: Plumbing systems (fixtures, leaks, minor pipe repairs) Electrical systems (lighting, outlets, basic troubleshooting) Interior and exterior painting Maintain and repair equipment, including: Commercial kitchen and restaurant equipment Pool and spa systems Fitness and recreational equipment Clean and maintain outdoor amenities, including: Tennis and pickleball courts Pool decks, furniture, and surrounding areas Conduct routine inspections to identify issues and proactively resolve them Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Perform preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reduce downtime Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by Facilities Manager
