The Opportunity This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. What You'll Work On Serve as the go-to technical expert for equipment reliability, responding to unplanned downtime and breakdowns Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on high-speed processing, filling, and packaging systems Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, and control systems to identify root cause and implement lasting solutions Design, fabricate, and install equipment improvements, including welding and machining components Support and lead planned shutdowns and major maintenance activities Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to optimize equipment performance Use data and problem-solving tools (e.g., 5 Whys, analytical troubleshooting) to drive continuous improvement Maintain accurate documentation using work order and inventory systems Mentor and train team members, sharing your technical expertise You'll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred (mechanical/electrical or equivalent experience) Experience in manufacturing maintenance, ideally in a regulated environment (food, pharma, etc.) Strong skills in: Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting Reading schematics and blueprints PLC diagnostics and programming basics Welding, fabrication, or machining Familiarity with predictive maintenance tools (vibration analysis, alignment, etc.) preferred Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment Position Details Shift:
