Some Evenings, Weekends & Holidays required. Hotel/Resort experience preferred.

- Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space, and heart-of-the-house areas
- Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
- Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work, and masonry
- Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs
- Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
- Participate and engage in training to stay informed and refreshed on processes and proper use of equipment available
- Provide excellent guest service by responding to calls for maintenance quickly and courteously. What are we looking for?

- Build and maintain subject-matter-expertise in Hotel property and equipment
- Familiar with usage of checklists and computer-based programs to track work order assignment and completion
- Able to prioritize and complete work assignments without constant supervision and direction, using problem solving skills to find best solutions for various and changing problems
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information
- Strive to build and maintain good and productive relationships with all team members across departments High School diploma or equivalent.
