Job Description - Handyman / Maintenance Technician (Flexible Schedule) Growing handyman company in Flagstaff is seeking a dependable and skilled Handyman / Maintenance Technician to join our team. We provide residential and light commercial repair, maintenance, and installation services throughout the area. This position offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to set your weekly availability while accessing consistent work opportunities. Ideal for someone who values independence, variety, and strong earning potential.
Responsibilities:
Complete general handyman repairs and maintenance tasks Perform drywall patching, caulking, painting touch-ups, and trim repairs Install shelves, fixtures, hardware, blinds, doors, and cabinets Basic plumbing repairs such as faucets, toilets, disposals, and leaks Light electrical work such as replacing fixtures, outlets, switches, and fans Diagnose and troubleshoot common property maintenance issues Complete punch-list items for rentals, turnovers, and property managers Pick up materials and maintain organized job sites Communicate professionally with customers and office staff Take photos and provide updates on completed work
Requirements:
Prior handyman, maintenance, or construction experience preferred Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Own basic tools required Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Professional communication and customer service skills Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks
Schedule:
Flexible scheduling available. Set your availability weekly. Minimum 32 hours of work opportunity available for productive technicians.
Compensation:
Pay based on task type, experience, and productivity. Higher rates for skilled handyman work and standard rates for support tasks.

Pay:
$25.00 - $38.00 per hour
