JOB SUMMARY
Performs work involving multiple skills and crafts of an all-encompassing maintenance technician, for the goal of repairing and maintaining various machines, mechanical equipment, and the structure of a building. Duties may involve; pipe fitting, HVAC maintenance, insulating, welding, machining, carpentry, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment, laundry machine upkeep, repairing buildings, floors, or stairs; grounds keeping, landscaping, repair of water faucets and facilities maintenance to include utilities such as sewer and water components. This position is a direct report to the Lazy D RV and Mobile Home Park Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
  • Maintain Park facilities and grounds, including, trash control, various repairs, asphalt in public areas, spreading sand, maintaining walks and driveways.
  • Performs ground care, maintenance, including but not limited to mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, fertilizing, watering, reseeding, weed trimming, weed control and watering dirt roads.
  • Maintain Park facilities in a clean and orderly conditions such as; bathrooms, clubhouse, and all general public areas.
  • Maintain Park equipment including lawn mowers, push mowers, edgers, trimmers, blowers, vacuums, sprayers, chain saws, and various power tools.
  • Use and maintain non powered grounds care equipment including shovels, axes, hose, wheel barrows, saws, trimmers, and hedge clippers.
  • Report to immediate supervisor any items requiring maintenance and any unusual or unsafe conditions.
  • Repair plumbing, perform carpentry and general labor of the installation or repair of public facilities.
  • Assist the Park Manager with park development projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Mechanical; Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Building and Construction; Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures such as highways and roads.
  • Math; Knowledge of basic math in the application of repair and maintenance.
  • Resources; Knowledge of materials, quality control processes, basic costs of goods, and other techniques for maximizing the effective use of materials.

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
