Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, you will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled troubleshooting, maintenance, modification, and repair work in our golf course operation areas. Your expertise will help keep our facilities running smoothly, allowing us to deliver exceptional service and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Brief Overview of Major Duties Perform skilled maintenance activities depending upon the area of assignment, including basic trade activities such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting work. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex systems and equipment in one or more areas of assignment such as HVAC, lighting, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems; pond pumps and aerification systems. Inspect facilities, grounds, infrastructure, and equipment to ensure proper maintenance and safety standards are being met; take or recommend corrective actions as necessary. Complete daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures. Complete maintenance logs, work orders, repair documentation, inspection records, and operational reports accurately and within required timelines. Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required. Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. Required to operate/drive a golf cart for the purpose of transporting supplies, tools and material around courses as needed. Required to be part of a rotation system for on-call duties and may receive a phone call to return to work if an emergency arises. Required to assist in janitorial duties on rare occasions Must provide your own basic hand tools. Heavy emphasis on HVAC repairs and preventative maintenance. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities Type
II EPA 608
Certification Required On-Call Rotation Required Knowledge of standard practices of building and equipment maintenance. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Skill in the use and care of equipment and tools. Organized, able to multi-task, think creatively, complete tasks proficiently and adapt to different situations. Able to react successfully to any situation that may present itself with members, staff, and/or guests. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. Able to complete training on computer and/or other devices. Maintain competency in the position and knowledge of trade/industry advances and new technologies. Able to effectively communicate in English with all levels of staff, members, and guests. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent. Five years skilled, professional experience in building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair. Experience in low temp walk-in freezers, ice machines. and commercial kitchen appliances preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
Must have a Type
II EPA 608
certification. Current, valid driver's license. Driving record must meet the criteria set forth by the club's insurance carrier.
