Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Pool Technician and become the essential expert responsible for maintaining sparkling, safe, and well-functioning swimming pools. In this energetic role, you will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure pools are clean, balanced, and compliant with safety standards. Your hands-on skills and proactive approach will keep pools inviting for customers and ready for enjoyment every day. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop technical expertise while delivering top-tier service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Conduct regular pool maintenance including water testing, chemical balancing, and filter cleaning to ensure optimal water quality. Perform pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming surfaces, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain cleanliness. Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; identify issues and perform repairs or coordinate repairs with service teams. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to repair or replace faulty equipment, ensuring all systems operate efficiently. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, repairs, and inspections for compliance and quality assurance. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to schedule maintenance visits and provide updates on pool conditions. Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools for equipment repair and maintenance. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward troubleshooting equipment issues promptly. Strong attention to detail to ensure all pools meet health regulations and safety protocols. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred for travel between sites.
