In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of garage doors and related hardware. Your expertise will ensure safe, reliable, and high-quality service for our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work independently while applying your mechanical skills and construction experience to deliver exceptional results. A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for craftsmanship are essential to thrive in this energetic environment. Duties Install, repair, and service garage doors, openers, springs, cables, rollers, and tracks with precision and safety in mind Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute installation and repair tasks Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to complete projects efficiently Perform door hanging, metal stud framing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation on various structures Conduct glass installation and locksmithing tasks as needed for secure and functional garage systems Engage in heavy lifting and physical work on construction sites or customer locations while adhering to safety protocols Complete detailed documentation of work performed and communicate effectively with clients about maintenance needs or repairs Experience Proven experience with construction site work, remodeling, or carpentry projects involving door hanging or fixture installation Hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems related to garage doors or similar hardware Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and electrical wiring as applicable Familiarity with welding, metal fabrication, caulking, trim carpentry, electrical experience, and locksmithing is highly desirable Prior handyman experience or general construction background is a strong plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various environments Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues independently Join us if you're eager to apply your construction expertise in a fast-paced environment where your craftsmanship makes a real difference!
