Duties Perform routine maintenance on patios, decks, and hardscape features using hand tools and power tools to ensure longevity and safety. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming trees, pruning shrubs, and caring for gardens to keep outdoor areas vibrant. Install or repair hardscape elements including pavers, retaining walls, walkways, and outdoor furniture to enhance aesthetic appeal. Operate equipment such as excavators for larger landscaping projects or construction tasks related to patio installations. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, or adjusting sprinklers to promote healthy plant growth. Clear snow from walkways and driveways during winter months using snow plowing equipment to ensure safe access. Assist with tree care activities like trimming and pruning to maintain healthy growth and safety standards. Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment. Knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control. Experience with landscape maintenance and horticulture principles to support healthy plant growth. Familiarity with construction techniques related to hardscape installation and repair. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators safely and effectively. Strong understanding of tree care practices including trimming and pruning for safety and aesthetics. Ability to perform gardening tasks such as planting, watering, mulching, and soil preparation. Flexibility to perform seasonal duties like snow plowing during winter months. Excellent attention to detail combined with physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
