Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and conducting preventive maintenance across a variety of systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced setting, contributing directly to the smooth running of our operations. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration, and related systems to ensure continuous operation. Help maintain Pool / Spa chemical levels dialy. Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures promptly, utilizing schematics and technical manuals for accurate diagnosis. Conduct appliance repairs and service tasks on various machinery and appliances within the facility. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to facilitate repairs and installations. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Assist with construction or renovation projects by supporting installation efforts and ensuring safety compliance. Lead or collaborate with team members during complex repairs or projects to ensure timely completion. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in home repair, equipment repair, or HVAC/R systems. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical components are a plus. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in construction or building maintenance is highly desirable. Strong troubleshooting skills with an active approach to problem-solving in high-pressure situations. Leadership qualities that enable guiding junior team members or coordinating tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to clearly document work orders and collaborate with team members. Valid certifications in HVAC/R or refrigeration are a plus; relevant training in home and/or construction repair is preferred.
