The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing swimming pool systems and structures, and be comfortable working independently out in the field. Responsibilities You need a solid understanding of in-ground pool systems, plumbing, electrical work, and water chemistry, supported by at least 1 year of hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing equipment, plumbing and electrical. Working knowledge of 110 and 220-volt electricity and general plumbing. Identify and repair pool and spa equipment needed to maintain proper pool operation including motors, filters, pumps, heaters, salt systems, lights, salt cells and chlorinators, automation, backwash valves, PVC plumbing, copper plumbing, galvanized plumbing, suction problems as well as priming problems and high/low pressure problems. Inspect pool equipment and plumbing to identify worn-out parts and recommend repair or replacement. Estimate accurately the time and extent of pool repairs. Keep up-to-date with pool equipment and repair changes with ongoing training and learning. Talk with customers, listen courteously , explain your diagnosis and next steps and include the customer in this decision making process while maintaining high standards in customer service and professional and ethical conduct. Complete repairs accurately, in a timely fashion. Maintain your truck, pool and spa materials and supply inventory within the truck. Comply with all safety procedures, including safe working and driving habits and dehydration avoidance actions. es, including safe working and driving habits and dehydration avoidance actions. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and the ability to travel between client job sites. Must pass an 8 screen drug test. Must speak, write and read English proficiently and legibly. At least 1 year pool and spa equipment repair experience required. Pay is based on level and accuracy of pool repair knowledge. Ability to lift heavy objects of 50-100 lbs, carry equipment, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions and extreme heat.

$2,800.00 - $3,200.00 per month
