Full Job Description Maintenance Building Technician Location:
Anaheim, CA Shift:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am•5:00 pm
Pay:
$20hr•$25.00hr (Depending on Experience) Key Responsibilities Perform diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, and maintain production machines and facility equipment. Respond to emergency repair needs during production and conduct scheduled maintenance during machine service windows. Execute basic machinist tasks and support mechanical repairs. Conduct routine maintenance of facility infrastructure, including restrooms, lighting, and general building upkeep. Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies; ensure stock levels are adequate and organized. Collaborate with the Safety Committee to uphold EHS standards and promote a safe workplace. Work with Manufacturing Engineers to enhance workstations, ergonomics, and facility layout. Conduct preventative inspections and maintenance per PM schedules. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including device history and change requests. Diagnose, repair, install, and service various types of production equipment and instrumentation. Coordinate service calls with external vendors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) and supervise on-site work. Review contractor quotes for accuracy and cost-effectiveness. Identify opportunities to improve PM procedures and spare parts inventory control. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of experience in general facilities maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, electrical). Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools. Problem-solving skills and ability to contribute to effective solutions. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagnostic tools, and meters. Basic computer literacy, including ability to use maintenance software and email. Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
