Job Description
Mill Site Owners Association, also known as Mill Woods HOA, is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to help maintain our community facilities, common areas, pool, and Rec Center in Arnold, CA. This position is ideal for someone with a strong construction or maintenance background who is dependable, hands-on, safety-minded, and comfortable working independently. The role includes a variety of general maintenance tasks, facility upkeep, seasonal projects, and coordination with management and vendors when needed.
Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Technician will assist with the care, upkeep, and repair of MSOA facilities and common areas, including but not limited to: General building maintenance and repairs Rec Center maintenance and upkeep Pool area support and seasonal preparation Minor carpentry, repairs, painting, and facility improvements Grounds and exterior maintenance Snow, storm, and seasonal cleanup support as needed Trash, debris, and safety checks around common areas Assisting with maintenance needs related to the gym, bathrooms, sauna, elevator, meeting room, kitchen, courts, and pool area Monitoring property conditions and reporting concerns to management Coordinating with outside vendors when necessary Completing assigned projects in a timely and professional manner Helping reduce reliance on outside vendors by handling appropriate in-house repairs and maintenance Preferred Experience The ideal candidate will have: Construction, maintenance, or trades experience Carpentry, framing, painting, repair, or general handyman skills Ability to safely operate tools and equipment Heavy equipment or lift experience preferred, but not required Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently Good communication with management, Board members, vendors, and owners Safety awareness and reliable judgment OSHA or jobsite safety experience preferred Physical Requirements This position may require: Lifting, bending, climbing, and working on your feet Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions Use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment Occasional storm-related or seasonal work About MSOA Mill Site Owners Association serves the Mill Woods community in Arnold, CA. The association maintains shared amenities and facilities including the Rec Center, pool, gym, sauna, bathrooms, meeting room, kitchen, tennis/pickleball courts, bocce courts, and common areas.
