Stone Countertop Fabricator and Installer

Stone Countertop Fabricator & Installer $30-$45/hr, Full-Time, Auburn, CA, 4-Day Workweek If you're an experienced stone fabricator who's tired of working in shops where the schedule keeps slipping, corners get cut, and your name ends up on work you're not proud of, keep reading. We're Innovative Stone in Auburn, California. We've been fabricating and installing stone countertops across the Sierra Foothills and Tahoe since 1999. Our reputation is built on quality work and dependable scheduling, and we're looking for one more Fabricator and Installer who takes the same pride in the craft. This isn't a helper position. We aren't looking to train you. If you don't have at least 2 years of professional stone fabrication and installation experience, please don't apply. We won't respond.

• $30-$45/hr based on experience and skill
• 4-day workweek: Mon-Thurs, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (some OT)
• Overtime pay (40-45 hrs/week)
• Company truck and tools provided
• Paid vacation and sick leave after 90 days
• Accident insurance for off-the-job injuries (covers ER visits, fractures, etc.).
• Omni Cubed tools, No-Lift Carts, and ramp trailers.

We invest in equipment that makes installs safer and smarter, not faster and sloppier.

What we need from you:

• 2+ years fabricating and installing stone (quartz, granite, quartzite, marble, etc.)
• Detail obsession. Overhangs, reveals, seams. If you don't notice them, this isn't the job for you.
• Customer-friendly on site. You represent us when you're in someone's home.
• Physically capable of lifting 75 lbs and working safely
• Valid CA driver's license, insurable (no major violations in the past 3 years) Helpful bonuses:
• Ability to read plans and field measure accurately
• Basic computer skills (photos, notes) If you've been looking for the shop where the craft still matters, this is it.
