Receiving Specialist -Retail Hardware & Door/Window Special Orders

RECEIVING SPECIALIST - RETAIL HARDWARE & DOOR/WINDOW SPECIAL ORDERS

Ganahl Lumber is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Receiving Specialist to support our retail hardware department and door/window special order operations. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have strong organizational skills, and take pride in accuracy and customer service, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do:

Receive and inspect incoming hardware inventory and special-order merchandise. Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Receive and process custom door and window orders. Ensure products are properly labeled, organized, and stored. Coordinate with sales staff regarding customer special-order arrivals. Assist with customer pickups and order verification. Maintain accurate inventory records and receiving documentation. Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or GED. Previous warehouse, receiving, inventory control, or building materials experience preferred. Experience with doors, windows, millwork, or retail hardware is a plus. Forklift experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday. Comfortable working in warehouse and outdoor environments. Why Ganahl Lumber?
