Overview Join our dynamic facilities maintenance team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, where your expertise keeps our operations running smoothly and efficiently. This vital role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks across our facilities, ensuring safety, functionality, and a clean environment. Your proactive approach and technical skills will directly contribute to the seamless operation of our manufacturing or residential sites, supporting a productive and safe workplace for all. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on facility and production support equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, mechanical components, plumbing, and HVAC units using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage automated processes within the facility. Perform welding tasks and basic carpentry repairs, including residential painting when necessary. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Supervise or assist with projects involving facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring safety standards are met. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues effectively. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major maintenance or renovation projects. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields such as manufacturing or residential settings. Strong electrical experience with knowledge of schematics, PLCs, and troubleshooting electrical circuits. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on skills in welding, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general repair work. Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately; experience with ohmmeters is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with team members and vendors. Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking work orders and maintenance history. Valid technical certifications or licenses related to electrical work, welding, or mechanical repairs are a plus. Embark on a career where your skills make a tangible difference! Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
