JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Tech I is responsible for efficiently and effectively completing daily maintenance at the Lost Lake Resort. They must represent the Enterprise in a respectful, polite and professional manner at all times. This position is under the direct supervision of the Lost Lake Resort Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Ensure that all resort streets and public access routes are free of hazards
• Operate heavy equipment to clean beaches daily
• Ensure trash/debris is picked up from common areas and streets on a daily basis
• Repair or replace faulty or damaged light fixtures, outlets and fuses as directed
• Perform minor construction and repair of structural woodwork
• Perform all duties with safety as priority
• Repair or replace plumbing, fixtures, washers, seals, etc.
• Install window shades or coverings, security locks, etc.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on Resort vehicles and boat as necessary
• Assist with events occurring at the Lost Lake Resort
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Resort Manager or designee to fulfill the Resort's needs, objectives or goals

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to perform strenuous tasks, often for extended periods in adverse climatic conditions
• Ability to work independently and use sound judgment
• Ability to safely and responsibly operate heavy equipment
• Possess general knowledge of HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, etc.
• Proficient use of various hand tools, power equipment and commercial machinery
• Ability to provide legible written reports
• Ability to work independently
• Able to occasionally work extended shifts as assigned, some weekends and holidays

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current valid driver's license

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum one (1) year working in trades
