Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the seamless operation and safety of our hotel facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of building systems and equipment. Your expertise will help create a comfortable, safe, and inviting environment for guests and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance skills in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal functioning. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, elevators, and other building infrastructure using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct residential painting, welding, and other carpentry tasks to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the property. Use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control building automation systems for energy efficiency and safety. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are met and work is completed efficiently. Collaborate with team members to coordinate repairs and upgrades while providing excellent customer service to internal departments and guests. Lead or assist in supervising junior technicians or maintenance staff when necessary. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or residential environment. Strong electrical experience with the ability to work with electrical components safely. Mechanical knowledge including plumbing, HVAC systems, welding, and residential painting. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics, and troubleshooting diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Supervising experience in a maintenance or facilities team is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and coordination. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and customer service excellence.
