Maintenance Mechanic

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing facility. 3rd shift 8pm - 4:30am + overtime & weekends as needed. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues with plant equipment. Perform preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns. Maintain and repair building systems, conveyor belts, and equipment (e.g., HVAC, lighting, forklifts). Conduct small repairs to reduce downtime until permanent fixes can be made. Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and company procedures. Support team by completing other related duties as needed. Qualifications 3+ years of maintenance experience. Skilled in repairing and maintaining hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop tools, electricity, or electronics. Knowledge of CMMS, lockout/tagout, and boiler operations. Experience with ammonia, freon, or other cooling systems. Ability to weld small repairs. Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office). Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
