  • 35/hour (DOE) Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in a fast-paced packaging/manufacturing environment .
This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing packaging equipment to ensure smooth production operations and minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on packaging machinery (fillers, sealers, conveyors, labelers, palletizers) Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Respond to production line breakdowns and perform timely repairs Complete equipment changeovers and adjustments Inspect and maintain conveyors, motors, belts, and bearings Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Document repairs and maintain accurate maintenance logs (CMMS experience a plus) Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency and uptime Assist with installation of new packaging equipment Qualifications 2+ years of maintenance mechanic experience in manufacturing or packaging Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and conveyor systems Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics required Basic electrical troubleshooting (motors, sensors, VFDs) preferred Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Ability to read and interpret technical documents Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills High school diploma or GED (technical training a plus) Work Schedule Full-time position Must be flexible for overtime, weekends, and possible shift work Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs Stand, bend, climb, and walk for extended periods Work in a noisy, fast-paced production environment Benefits Competitive pay (DOE) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Why Join Us?
