2139 E Del Amo Blvd, Rancho Dominguez, CA 90220 The Opportunity We are looking for a disciplined, detail-oriented Technician to join our team and transition into a Lead role. You won't just be "fixing things"—you will be learning the DNA of our facility through a direct mentorship program with our senior maintenance lead. Detailed Responsibilities Precision Diagnostics:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions across 110v, 220v, and 480v 3-phase systems. You should be able to read a schematic to find a "needle in a haystack."
Systems Fluidity:
Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, including cylinders, valves, and compressors.
Root Cause Analysis:
We don't just "patch" problems. You will be expected to identify why a part failed and suggest improvements to prevent recurrence.
Proactive Maintenance:
Perform rigorous daily inspections on heavy machinery and forklifts. You'll be responsible for catching a fraying belt or a small leak before it causes a downtime event.
Safety Ownership:
Execute strict Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) protocols. We have a zero-tolerance policy for safety shortcuts.
Documentation:
Maintain clean, accurate logs of repairs and parts used. A "good" employee fixes the machine; a "great" employee documents it so the team learns. Who You Are (Requirements)
The Early Bird:
You are energized by a 5:30 AM start and value having your afternoons free. Reliability at this hour is non-negotiable.
Mechanically Intuitive:
You have 2+ years of experience in an industrial setting. You understand how gears, motors, and sensors interact.
Electrically Proficient:
You are comfortable using ammeters and ohmmeters to diagnose complex control panels safely.
Operator Certified:
You have experience (or the ability to be certified) on scissor lifts and forklifts.
Fluent Communicator:
You can explain technical issues clearly to non-technical operators and provide written reports in English.
Physical Capability:
Comfortable standing for 8 hours, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Schematic Literacy:
The ability to use these tools in conjunction with electrical drawings to perform methodical point-to-point troubleshooting. Multimeters (VOM): Expert use for measuring voltage, continuity, resistance, and amperage on AC/DC circuits.
