Job Description

Job Summary ( Please read full description) Pay is negotiable Depending on experience We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Facilities Tech II to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various mechanical, electrical, and facility systems. Your expertise will help uphold safety standards, improve operational efficiency, and support a productive environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the seamless functioning of our facilities. Under general supervision of the Maintenance Lead/Supervisor and Facility Engineering Manager, will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of both the inside and outside of all buildings and parking lots.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
:
  • Responsible for cleaning, sorting and organizing of the inside and outside of the facilities including, but not limited to emptying trash cans and replacing liners, mopping, sweeping, dusting, parking lot clean up, card board bailing, recycling and responding to all calls that arise throughout the day in order to support production and the Wellington staff.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack and other equipment deemed necessary to perform daily duties.
  • Must be able to safely handle, operate and utilize various types of hand tools and shop machinery.
  • Must be able to operate the cardboard bailer and bundle recycled products.
  • Responsible to keep an open constant work related communication with Supervisor and Lead
  • Follow and enforce current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
  • Assist Management in clarifying and identifying current and potential problems, generating solutions consistent with department goals and company policies.
  • Maintain and ensure work areas are neat, clean, and a safe work environment for all employees. Consistent with company and quality guidelines and good manufacturing practices.
  • Follow and enforce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies/procedures.
  • Ensure that all cleaning logs are completely and accurately filled out daily.
  • Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor and/or Lead Maintenance and Facility Engineering Manager.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have good mechanical abilities and comprehension.
  • Must be able to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to effectively adapt to change.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to stay focused and alert; utilize basic math skills; audit paperwork; carryout routine tasks.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, to work in confined areas, to lift 50 lbs.
  • Team player, willing to assist employees in their areas to accomplish the task at hand.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
