Job Description

Maintenance Technician / Production MechanicJob Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician / Production Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and mechanical/electrical systems in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with production equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform both preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure maximum equipment efficiency. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform immediate repairs as needed Conduct routine preventative maintenance on machinery Install, overhaul, and maintain production equipment Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner Perform equipment changeovers and assist with production line setups Support production by minimizing downtime and facilitating smooth operations Perform basic fabrication and assist with special projects Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) Diagnose problems and implement effective solutions aligned with company goals Repair and maintain equipment including: Fillers, cappers, labelers, sleevers Conveyors, seamers, heat tunnels Boilers, compressors, and pumps Follow all safety protocols, including PPE and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures Perform additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production mechanic or maintenance role Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret: Electrical schematics Hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams Basic knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) Experience troubleshooting electrical systems (24V, 120V, 480V) Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication skills (verbal and written English) Ability to adapt to changing priorities Work Environment & Requirements Must follow all plant safety and quality standards Required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Work may involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting Why Join Us?
