Mon-Fri, 7:50 AM-3:30 PM (up to 29 hrs/week, school calendar)Start Date:
ASAP Position Overview We are hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) with active CPI certification to join our school‑based Float Pool , providing short‑term and ongoing coverage across Culver City and Inglewood school sites. This role is ideal for experienced BTs who value variety, flexibility, and consistent daytime hours while supporting students in structured educational settings. Float Pool BTs are assigned to school sites based on daily staffing needs. Daily assignments are distributed each morning , and technicians work at one school site per shift . While placements may vary day‑to‑day, many assignments extend into longer‑term or full‑year coverage , depending on district needs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentCPI:
REQUIRED
At least 6 months of ABA, behavioral technician, or special‑education experience Experience supporting individuals with behavioral, developmental, or learning needs in structured settings (schools, clinics, ABA agencies, after‑school programs, etc.) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a BCBA Provide direct support to students in 1:1 or classroom settings Collect and document behavioral data Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff Attend team meetings and training sessions Apply CPI techniques to manage and de-escalate behaviors (training provided if required) Ensure student safety and well-being Training & Support Structured onboarding (5-7 days) Ongoing coaching, oversight, and support from clinical leadership Opportunities for professional growth based on performance and attendance Benefits Paid training Referral program Professional development opportunities Important Details Hours follow the school calendar (no work during breaks) Growth opportunities based on attendance, performance, and feedback Apply Today Submit your resume highlighting your ABA, behavioral support, or special‑education experience to secure your January start.
