Job Description
Somani Holdings is seeking a reliable, hands-on in-house Building Maintenance & Facility Care Specialist to manage the day-to-day upkeep of a private commercial property. This is a full-time position responsible for maintaining both the interior and exterior condition of the facility to a high standard. Core Responsibilities Interior maintenance & cleaning (daily): Keep all common areas, hallways, restrooms, and interior spaces clean, organized, and presentable Trash removal, restocking basic supplies, and general tidiness throughout the building Ensure a consistently clean, professional environment Exterior maintenance (daily ~2 hours): Light landscaping and grounds upkeep Sweeping, pressure washing as needed, and keeping exterior walkways clean Monitoring property appearance and reporting issues Handyman / repair work (~2 hours daily): Basic repairs (doors, fixtures, minor plumbing/electrical issues if qualified) General building upkeep and preventive maintenance tasks Coordinating with vendors for larger repairs when needed Facility oversight: Proactively identify maintenance issues and resolve or escalate them Maintain a safe, clean, and professional property environment at all times Support transition away from outside cleaning vendors (this is an in-house replacement role) Requirements Prior experience in janitorial, facilities maintenance, handyman, or property care preferred Ability to work independently and take ownership of property condition Basic repair and maintenance skills Reliable, detail-oriented, and physically able to perform daily upkeep tasks Professional demeanor and strong sense of responsibility Compensation & Benefits Approx. $60,000+ annual salary (DOE) Full medical, dental, and vision benefits Stable full-time in-house role with long-term growth
