Pharmacy Technician Insurance & Billing for Long-Term Care / Closed-Door Pharmacy

Company Overview A long-term care closed-door pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with a strong background in insurance billing and claims processing. This position is not for data entry roles — we are specifically hiring a technician who has handled insurance billing, coding, and rejection resolution firsthand.

Position Requirements:

Minimum of 3-5 years direct experience in pharmacy insurance billing Must be proficient in processing claims, resolving rejections, understanding codes, and handling third-party billing systems Strong knowledge of billing procedures and pharmacy software used in long-term care settings Must be able to demonstrate prior billing experience clearly — this is a must-have qualification

Key Responsibilities:

Submit accurate insurance claims and ensure timely payment Resolve third-party rejections and handle prior authorizations Maintain billing compliance and support reimbursement workflows Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff to resolve billing-related issues
