• Full-time On-Site Apartment Maintenance Technician Tyler Court Apartments, El Monte, CA We are seeking a skilled and dependable On-Site Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at a small, quiet and thriving Senior affordable housing apartment community in El Monte.

The ideal candidate is a hard-working professional who provides exceptional customer service to residents, takes pride in maintaining the community, and works efficiently as part of a dedicated team. Key Responsibilities Complete resident work orders promptly and professionally Perform apartment turns, ensuring all units are ready for move-in within 3-7 days Conduct general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, and painting Maintain curb appeal and cleanliness of all common areas Prepare for and participate in property inspections (Tax Credit, Housing Authority, etc.) Complete janitorial duties such as trash pickup, cleaning laundry rooms, restrooms, mail areas, and community spaces daily Provide after-hours response for maintenance emergencies Work closely with the Property Manager Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and fair housing laws Qualifications Proven experience in apartment or building maintenance Skilled in plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general building systems Experience turning units and conducting inspections Understanding porter-janitorial duties included in this position Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks on schedule Strong communication and problem-solving skills Team-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction Experience in senior housing communities is a plus

Compensation & Benefits Pay:

$22.00

• $24.

00 per hour (based on experience)

Apartment:

Rent-Free, On-Site, 2x1 unit

Split Property Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM

• 5:00 PM ......Tyler Court Apartments = 24 hours per week (Monday-Wednesday-Friday) ......Garvey Court Apartments = 16 hours per week (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
• Assist Maintenance Manager with Porter and Technician duties

Paid Time Off:

20 days (includes sick leave) accrued during years 1-4

Holidays:

13 paid holidays annually
