This position requires a proactive individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform various maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities maintenance and possess skills in electrical systems, plumbing, and general repair work. Duties Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs. Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility equipment. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively. Oversee and supervise maintenance staff or contractors as needed. Execute residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic quality. Operate welding equipment for metal repairs or modifications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management. Skills Proficient mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Strong leadership skills to effectively supervise maintenance teams. Experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on preventive measures. Ability to read and interpret schematics for electrical and mechanical systems. Competence in residential painting techniques and practices. Familiarity with welding processes and safety protocols. Knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting techniques.
