Maintenance Mechanic Journeyman

SUMMARY We are looking for motivated Maintenance Mechanic who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity.

ACCOUNTABILITIES POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Specific responsibilities include maintaining production equipment to optimize machine efficiencies through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of machines.
• Other required skills include but are not limited to: troubleshooting skills in industrial, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical failures and the aptitude to correct those failures, boiler operations and steam systems
• Accurately completing administrative documents and following directions
• Demonstrated technical experience, reliability and the ability to work independent
• The ability to work in confined spaces and heights.
• Must be willing to work alternative shifts, weekends and overtime as required.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager and/or Supervisor.

High school diploma (or equivalent). Five (5) years of maintenance experience. Experienced in LOTT (preferred). Apprenticeship certification and/or technical degree (preferred). Maintenance experience in similar manufacturing environment (preferred).
