Facilities Maintenance & Kart Mechanic

Position Overview We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Kart Mechanic & Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role combines mechanical work on go-karts with general upkeep of the facility. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Kart Maintenance & Repair Perform routine maintenance on go-karts (oil changes, tire checks, brake adjustments, etc.) Diagnose and repair mechanical issues Ensure all karts are safe, clean, and race-ready Maintain maintenance logs and report recurring issues Facility Maintenance (Light Duty) Perform basic repairs around the facility Keep pit area, track, and workspaces clean and organized Assist with track maintenance and safety checks General Support Assist operations team as needed during busy periods Follow all safety procedures and company standards Help maintain a professional and welcoming environment Qualifications Mechanical experience (small engines, karts, motorcycles, or similar preferred) Basic knowledge of tools and repair techniques Ability to troubleshoot and work independently Strong attention to detail and safety Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet Bonus Skills (Not Required): Experience with electric karts or performance vehicles Facility maintenance or handyman experience Motorsports background or passion Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Flexible scheduling Opportunity to grow within a fast-paced motorsports environment Fun, high-energy workplace
