currently has an opening for a Building Maintenance Technician (Level 2) to join our expanding team in the Fremont, CA area! For two and a half decades, City Wide has been an industry leader in providing reliable, first-class maintenance, repairs, and day-to-day upkeep for commercial properties throughout the Western United States.

SUMMARY A

Maintenance Technician II is responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on commercial properties. The goal is to maintain the facilities and common areas in the best possible conditions.

Schedule Options:

Option 1: Monday-Friday, 6AM

• 2:30pm Option 2: Monday-Friday, 7AM
• 3:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Have experience with various following tasks in a commercial building setting: electrical including changing commercial lighting ballast, concrete work, plumbing, welding, painting, finish & repair, drywall patch and repair and overall basic handyman work.
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial buildings.
• Have knowledge of tools and equipment used in ground and facility maintenance environments.
• Complete work orders for a variety of structure and equipment repairs.
• Estimate time and materials effectively.
• Order necessary materials for repair completion.
• Complete all necessary paperwork upon finalization of the work orders.
• Perform daily inspection of building systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
• Must possess a valid California driver's license.
• DMV driving record (MVR) check required .
• Basic analytical and computer skills.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to work extra hours or change schedule as required by customer needs
• Capable of driving truck with trailer, including planning routes and following all traffic laws
• Understand oral and written instructions.
• Use hand tools and power equipment safely and correctly
• Physically capable of performing all job duties including ability to push/ carry supplies
