Hotel Maintenance Technician

Hotel Maintenance staff play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of Hotel Piccadilly by making sure that all facilities, utilities, and equipment are in good working condition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment
• Identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues
• Carry out necessary repairs to ensure the smooth operation of hotel facilities
• Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints related to hotel facilities and equipment
• Proficiency in utilizing an electronic device (cell phone) to process work orders
• Work closely with other hotel departments to coordinate maintenance and repair work
• Ensure compliance with hotel safety and security protocols
• Pool and Spa experience in cleaning, keeping track of Chemicals and logs
• Keep detailed logs of all maintenance and repair work
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment as required
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and facilities
• Perform general cleaning tasks as required
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, electrical repairs, HVAC repairs, plumbing etc.
• Daily Maintenance of Pool and Spa, including Chemicals and cleaning
• Communicate with hotel management on any work orders, safety issues or concerns
• Ensure that all work areas are clean and organized
• Monitors work performed by outside vendors to insure compliance with safety requirements and local ordinances as required
• Attend all mandatory meetings.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance as scheduled as needed.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Three years of related experience and/or training in a facility maintenance, plumbing, electrical works, Tile and drywall HVAC systems with prior experience working on Heat pumps and/or mini splits, Pool and Spa experience; or equivalent combination of high school diploma education and experience.
