Maintenance Mechanic Under general supervision, keeps plant machinery and equipment in good repair. Maintains, analyzes and corrects problems of standard machinery, as required. Who are we? Job Summary Performs preventative maintenance using prepared check-off list on all major equipment (i.e. Stretch presses, hot presses, standard and NC machine tools), and some special machinery General mechanical maintenance, on various mechanical equipment such as, pumps, cranes, hoist, hydraulic systems, vacuum pumps, and basic vehicle repairs Drive forklift, arial boom lifts, scissors lifts, and small truck Under general supervision, examines machines for defects in operation, replaces defective parts and makes necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation Required Skills and Qualifications Ability to read basic blueprints and interpret specifications. Knowledge of hydraulic systems desired Must be able to work independently and follow detailed, written instructions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Required Experience and Education High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a relevant trade school program or vocational training preferred Four (4) years experience on general machine tool repair and maintenance Combination of trade school and industry experience may be considered Crane and forklift experience preferred

Base Compensation:

USD 23.32 - 27.15
