Job Description

Seasonal Maintenance Team Member - Join Us at Rancho Seco Recreation Area! Love working outdoors and taking pride in keeping beautiful spaces looking their best? If so, we'd love to meet you! Nestled among some of California's most popular recreational sites, Rancho Seco Recreation Area offers outstanding fishing, boating, camping, and outdoor adventures. We're looking for a hardworking and dependable Maintenance Team Member to help keep our park safe, clean, and welcoming for all visitors.
Pay:
Starting at $16.90 per hour , depending on experience Through October 31, 2026
Requirements:
Valid driver's license required What You'll Do As a member of our maintenance team, you'll play an important role in preserving the beauty and functionality of the park.
Responsibilities include:
Maintaining and repairing park facilities, grounds, picnic areas, and restrooms Operating and caring for grounds maintenance equipment Mowing, trimming, watering, and performing general landscape upkeep Conducting routine inspections to identify and address safety concerns Assisting with special projects, park improvements, and community events Keeping maintenance records and monitoring supply inventories Helping create a clean, safe, and enjoyable experience for all guests What We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Enjoys working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Has experience in general maintenance, landscaping, groundskeeping, or park operations Takes initiative and works well independently or as part of a team Has strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety Possesses a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Why Join Us?
