Maintenance Technician

Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Maintain and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building equipment to ensure optimal performance. Respond promptly and professionally to guest service requests and maintenance concerns, ensuring minimal disruption to the guest experience. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Repair appliances, air conditioning units, and other equipment with efficiency and attention to quality. Assist with installation projects, renovations, and property improvements as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inventory of parts and supplies. Coordinate with vendors and contractors on specialized repairs while ensuring compliance with safety and resort standards. Support emergency response efforts and on-call maintenance needs to ensure the safety and comfort of guests and team members. Requirements Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a hotel, resort, or hospitality setting. Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams. Hands-on experience with general repairs, appliance maintenance, and building systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and guest-focused mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding service. Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays. Prior experience in resort or beachfront properties is a plus. Why Join Us?
